Amity JEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Amity University offers various Undergraduate engineering programs across its various campuses. The Amity offered programs include 4-year B. Tech and 5-year Dual/integrated degrees in different disciplines leading to B. Tech and M. Tech admissions to the programs is based on the academic records and Amity JEE scores followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Amity University has been ranked in “Top 300” best universities in Asia by QS Magazine in 2015. Following are the eligibility criteria for Amity JEE:

Age limit The candidates must be 16-23 years in order to appear for Amity JEE.
Minimum qualification

Intermediate graduates or equivalent examination from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the exam.

The candidates appearing for the 12th standard is also eligible to apply for Amity JEE. Their admission offers will be canceled if they do not meet the eligibility criteria of amity JEE in their qualifying examination.

Compulsory subjects The candidates must have studied English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science in their 10+2 standard.
Minimum required score

 A minimum of 60% and 55% for the sponsored candidates in aggregate is required in both 10th & 12 standards irrespective of the discipline applied for.

The candidates whose scores are 80% and above in their Board exams i.e. CBSE/ISC/State-Boards of 2021/2022 will be exempted from appearing for Amity JEE and the following selection process of Amity.

The candidates who secure a score of 30+ in JEE mains in addition to an overall aggregate of 60% in English, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry / Biology/ Computer Science / Biotechnology will be considered for Direct admission to B.Tech programs at Amity.

B.Tech (Aerospace /Avionics/ Aeronautical Engineering)

Basic Qualification: The candidates should have successfully completed 10+2

Compulsory subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics

Minimum Required score: A minimum of 60% for all the non-sponsored candidates and 55% for sponsored candidates is required in all compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination

B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering

Basic qualification: The candidates should have completed 10+2

Compulsory subjects: English, Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry / Computer Science

Minimum required score: A minimum of 70% for all the Non-sponsored candidates and 65% for sponsored candidates are required in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics individually in the qualifying examination

B.Tech (Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Dual Degree)

Basic Qualification: The candidates should have completed 10+2

Compulsory subjects: English, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology

3 continent/ International B.Tech programs (Civil Engineering/ Electronics & Communication/Computer Science/Mechanical Engineering)

Basic Qualification: The candidates should have completed 10+2

Compulsory subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry & mathematics

Minimum required scores: A minimum of 555 of scores for all Non-sponsored candidates and 50% for a sponsored candidate in all compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination. Also, the candidates should have a minimum the aggregate score of 50% in both 10 and 12 standards.

Reservation for Amity JEE:

A relaxation of 5% will be allowed for special category candidates in the qualifying examination with an aggregate score. The reservations are available in accordance with the rules and regulations laid by the University within the legal permission.
