IBS Dehradun Courses Offered 2027

MBA Program 

Duration: 24 in Months

The MBA Program is unique with case-based learning, state-of-the-art infrastructure, emphasis on acquiring practical skills, establishing strong industry interface culminating in getting excellent final placements for all its MBA graduates. On successful completion of the program students will be awarded an MBA Degree from ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (Deemed to the University), Hyderabad. 

The program comprises 31 courses (of which 23 are compulsory and 8 are electives) and an intensive Summer Internship Program for 12 weeks. These courses are spread over four semesters

The students can pursue elective courses in the streams of Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations and Information Technology and Systems. Each student must choose elective courses equivalent to 24 credit units. 

To specialise in a particular stream (Finance/Marketing/HR/Operations/IT and Systems), the students are required to choose 15 credit equivalent elective courses.

IBS Dehradun Admissions 2027

To apply for IBSAT 2026, start by registering and paying the Rs 1800 application fee. Next, take the IBSAT test or submit scores from CAT, NMAT by GMAC™, XAT, or GMAT™. Note that IBSAT is an online remote-proctored test. After the test, wait for the results announcement. If shortlisted, you will receive an invitation to the selection process at the IBS campus, which includes Micro Presentation and Personal Interview rounds. Finally, upon successful completion, you will receive admission confirmation and campus allocation.

IBS Dehradun Admissions 2027 MBA program happens through IBSAT. IBSAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and consists of multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is a two-hour exam designed to gauge a candidate's proficiency in quantitative methods, data interpretation, data sufficiency, vocabulary, analytical thinking, and reading comprehension.

IBS Dehradun MBA Admissions 2027 Process through IBSAT 2026

Admission to the MBA 2027–29 program at IBS Dehradun (The ICFAI University, Dehradun) is based on IBSAT 2026 or other accepted national-level management entrance examination scores. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their entrance test performance and subsequently participate in the institute's selection process comprising a Mock Presentation and Personal Interview.

Step 1: Apply for IBSAT 2026

Candidates must complete the IBSAT 2026 online application by filling out the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The IBSAT application is common for admission to IBS Dehradun and other participating IBS campuses.

Step 2: Appear for IBSAT 2026 (if applicable)

Applicants without a valid national-level management entrance test score should appear for IBSAT 2026. Candidates with valid CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMAC, GMAT, or other accepted management entrance examination scores may apply without taking IBSAT, subject to the university's admission policy.

Step 3: Shortlisting

Candidates are shortlisted based on their IBSAT 2026 score or other accepted entrance examination scores. Shortlisted applicants receive an invitation to participate in the selection process conducted by IBS Dehradun.

Step 4: Mock Presentation (MP)

Shortlisted candidates must deliver a Mock Presentation on a given topic after a brief preparation period. The institute evaluates candidates on:

Step 5: Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates who complete the Mock Presentation appear for a Personal Interview. During the interview, the panel assesses:

Step 6: Final Admission Offer

The final selection is based on the candidate's overall performance, including:
