ICFAI Business School (IBS) Dehradun, started in 2003, brings together a team of excellent faculty members from the academia and industry, and an excellent infrastructure to provide students the best learning environment to develop themselves into well groomed, industry ready professionals. It is a self-financed college. IBS Dehradun is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and affiliated to ICFAI University. IBS Dehradun provides high quality, value-based and career-oriented based management education. The college offers two years Master of Business Administration (MBA) course.

IBS Dehradun is housed at The ICFAI University in a lush green campus spread over 25 acres site of Selaqui. IBS Dehradun Courses Offered 2026

MBA Program 

Duration: 24 in Months

The MBA Program is unique with case-based learning, state-of-the-art infrastructure, emphasis on acquiring practical skills, establishing strong industry interface culminating in getting excellent final placements for all its MBA graduates. On successful completion of the program students will be awarded an MBA Degree from ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (Deemed to the University), Hyderabad. 

The program comprises 31 courses (of which 23 are compulsory and 8 are electives) and an intensive Summer Internship Program for 12 weeks. These courses are spread over four semesters

The students can pursue elective courses in the streams of Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations and Information Technology and Systems. Each student must choose elective courses equivalent to 24 credit units. 

To specialise in a particular stream (Finance/Marketing/HR/Operations/IT and Systems), the students are required to choose 15 credit equivalent elective courses.

IBS Dehradun Admissions 2026

To apply for IBSAT 2025, start by registering and paying the Rs 1800 application fee. Next, take the IBSAT test or submit scores from CAT, NMAT by GMAC™, XAT, or GMAT™. Note that IBSAT is an online remote-proctored test. After the test, wait for the results announcement. If shortlisted, you will receive an invitation to the selection process at the IBS campus, which includes Micro Presentation and Personal Interview rounds. Finally, upon successful completion, you will receive admission confirmation and campus allocation.

IBS Dehradun Admissions 2026 MBA program happens through IBSAT. IBSAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and consists of multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is a two-hour exam designed to gauge a candidate's proficiency in quantitative methods, data interpretation, data sufficiency, vocabulary, analytical thinking, and reading comprehension.

How to Apply

A single application form is used for admission to the MBA/PGPM programs across all IBS campuses.

The IBSAT Bulletin can be purchased for ₹1,800 through the following modes:

1. Online Purchase

• Fill in your basic details and proceed to the payment page.

• Once the payment is completed, you will receive a confirmation email.

• The IBSAT Bulletin will be delivered within a week.

2. Marketing Offices

• You can also buy the IBSAT Bulletin directly from IBS marketing offices by paying the fee in cash.

Eligibility Criteria

MBA / PGPM Programs

• Graduation in any discipline with 50% or above, with English as the medium of instruction.

• Minimum 15 years of education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4).

• Final-year students may apply, provided all graduation requirements are completed by May 31, 2026.

• All academic documents must be submitted by November 1, 2026, or admission will remain provisional.

• Applicants who did not study in English medium must submit a TOEFL/NELT/IELTS score by May 31, 2026.

• Eligibility verification begins August 2026, and meeting the criteria is the sole responsibility of the candidate.

IBSAT Admission Test

IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (Deemed University under UGC Act Section 3).
