After the written exam is over the result for the same will be declared on the official website. The result will be released in the PDF format containing the roll number of the qualified candidates. The candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks will be treated as qualified. The admit card to all the qualifiers for the interview will be issued by the commission and for that; they have to fill the detailed application form.

The following are the steps to check the results of the written exam of IES/ISS:

• Visit the official website
• Click on the results of UPSC IES/ISS written exam result tab
• The result of UPSC IES/ISS 2019 will appear on the screen in PDF format.
• The candidates can check the roll number in the columns given.
• Download and take a print out of the result of IES/ISS 2019 for future reference.

The candidates who are qualified for the next round will have to submit the detailed application form (DAF). It is mandatory to submit the form in a given time frame. The candidates have to submit some sort of documents. The candidates are advised to keep ready the attested copies of the documents for submitting it to the commission soon after the declaration of the results of written exam

The candidates after the written exam have to qualify the personality test and for appearing for viva voce they have to fill the DAF. The main aim of the personality test is to test the candidate’s personality for services and general knowledge and general awareness.
