MAT 2023 Exam Date Notification

MAT 2023 Exam Date

The respective dates for the MAT examination have been released by the conducting authority, AIMS.

Since there are four different exams for each term of MAT exams, the entrance tests for MAT 2023 will be held during the period of May 15 to May 28. The first test for PBT as well as CBT mode will be conducted on May 15 whereas the second test for the PBT and CBT mode is scheduled on May 28.

The admit card for these four tests are scheduled to be released a week prior to the entrance tests. It should be noted that the last date for registering in these terms is May 9 and May 23 for the respective entrance tests.

ELIGIBILITY

Graduates in any discipline. Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.

MODE OF TEST
(How to take the Test)

Candidate can take MAT as

(i) Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) or

(ii) Double Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) or

(iii) Paper Based Test (PBT) or

(iv) Paper Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (PBT+IBT) or

(v) Computer Based Test (CBT) or

(vi) Computer Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (CBT+IBT) or

(vii) Paper Based Test and Computer Based Test (PBT+CBT) or

(viii) Double Computer Based Test (CBT+CBT)

 

Note:

  • Candidates can opt for an additional mode of test (e.g. IBT+IBT, PBT+CBT, IBT+PBT, IBT+CBT, CBT+CBT) by paying an extra fee of ₹1150/- in addition to ₹1950/-.
  • Candidates opting for additional test will have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutes for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutes i.e. they can select 7 Management Institutes in total.

MAT RESULT

Availability of MAT May 23 Score on MAT Website: By 2nd week of June 2023 Candidates have to download the MAT Score from website https://mat.aima.in/  (Applicant dashboard)

TEST CITIES

Test cities for Paper Based Test (PBT) and Computer Based Test (CBT) are different. 

LIST OF PARTICIPATING MANAGEMENT INSTITUTES

  • Select the institutes where you have applied or are applying for admission.
  • Important Notice: Candidates are advised to check the approval/recognition status of various programs directly from the concerned Authorities/ Institutes/ Universities.

  • AIMA has come across a couple of cases where the aspiring candidates’ MAT score is not accepted by some participating institutes/universities for admission to MBA full time course despite their confirmation to AIMA MAT at the time of participation by incorporating their notifications in MAT e bulletin. Candidates are advised to recheck with the concerned institutes/universities before applying for MAT.

ADMIT CARD

All provisionally registered candidates for IBT/PBT have to download their Admit Card from MAT website https://mat.aima.in/ (Applicant dashboard) as per the schedule given above.

Admit Card contains Candidate’s Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to him/her in the admit card.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

MAT Score is acceptable even to certain other Institutes for considering admission of candidates for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma programmes, besides the above Institutes, subject to specific cut-off marks and other admission parameters.
