IPMAT 2024 Exam Pattern

The IPMAT Indore Exam Pattern 2024 comprises 90 questions categorised into two sections: Verbal and Quantitative ability.

Meanwhile, the IPMAT Rohtak Exam Pattern 2024 includes 120 questions spread across Verbal, Quantitative, and Logical Reasoning sections.

IPMAT Indore 2024 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern tends to have an element of unpredictability since IIM Indore does not disclose the number of questions in advance. Nevertheless, the structure of the paper has shown consistency over the past two years (2022 and 2023).

The aptitude test for IIM Indore consists of 90 questions, with 45 focusing on quantitative ability (comprising both multiple-choice questions and short-answer questions) and the remaining 45 on verbal ability.

IPMAT 2024 Question Paper Pattern for Aptitude Test

The IPMAT 2024 exam comprises three sections:

  1. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) on Quantitative Ability
  2. Short Answer Questions (SA) on Quantitative Ability
  3. Verbal Ability

The examination will be conducted online, and the total duration is 120 minutes, equivalent to 2 hours. Both the MCQ and Verbal Ability sections impose a penalty of -1 for each incorrect answer.

Personal Interview (PI)

Only candidates who achieve the minimum qualifying marks in the IPMAT exam will be considered for the personal interview stage.

The admission committee oversees the interview process.

Throughout the interview, candidates are evaluated on their levels of confidence, communication abilities, general awareness, motivational skills, and knowledge.

IPMAT Time Duration 2024

According to the IPMAT Exam Pattern 2024 Guidelines, the duration of the exam is 120 minutes, which equals 2 hours.

Each section has a designated time limit, with 40 minutes allocated to each of the three sections. Candidates are required to answer the sections in a predetermined order, and this order remains consistent for all exam-taking participants.

Number of Sections in IPMAT Exam Pattern 2024

According to the IPMAT Syllabus 2024, the quantitative sections cover topics such as Algebra, Average, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Number Series, Data Interpretation (DI), and Logical Reasoning.

The verbal ability section encompasses reading comprehension, Error Detection, Vocabulary, and various other types of questions.

IPMAT Indore Marking Scheme 2024

According to the IPMAT Paper Pattern, correct answers in the MCQ questions will earn you four marks each, while an incorrect response will result in a deduction of one mark.

Short Answer-type questions in the Quantitative section do not incur any negative marking.

There are no marks awarded or deducted for questions left unattempted.

IIM Rohtak IPMAT 2024 Exam Pattern

The paper pattern for the IPMAT exam is set by the Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak.

IIM Rohtak IPM Aptitude Test 2024

The aptitude test will assess your proficiency in Mathematics, logical reasoning, and the English language.

The IPMAT Rohtak question paper will consist of 120 questions, with each question carrying 4 marks.

Additionally, there will be a penalty of -1 mark for each incorrectly answered question.

All questions will be in the multiple-choice format.
