IPMAT 2024 Selection Process

The selection process for IPMAT 2024 will be based on the performance of candidates in the Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Assessment (PA) sections. The Personal Assessment section may involve a Personal Interview (PI) or Video Based Assessment (VBA), and will be the same for all candidates. Candidates who do not appear for either the AT or PA will be disqualified.

The IPMAT selection procedure comprises several stages:

  1. Application Form Submission: Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria must submit their Application Form. Candidates submitting multiple forms with minor changes will not be accepted.

  2. Aptitude Test: Eligible candidates will be called for the Aptitude Test, which will be held in 34 test centres. Eligibility is based on the submitted application form.

  3. Candidate Selection: Candidates who have a positive raw score and minimum marks in all three sections of the paper will be eligible for Personal Assessment. The cutoff for this stage will depend on the category of the candidate. Candidates who have not been selected will receive a regret letter.

  4. PA Shortlist: A Personal Assessment Shortlist will be created from the candidates selected in stage 3 from all categories, using the merit list generated from ATS score. Shortlisted candidates will now appear for Personal Assessment. A consistent and minimum performance is expected in all parameters of the PA, as decided by the admission committee.

  5. Final Selection: Candidates who meet the minimum parameters in the previous stage will be considered for final selection. A merit list for each category will be generated based on the composite score (CS) as mentioned in the table below:

Component Score (Weight)
Aptitude Test Score (ATS) 65
Personal Assessment (PA) 35
Composite Score (CS) Sum of Above Scores

The seat intake for IPM 2024 batch is 150.
