UPES Dehradun Scholarship 2025
UPES Dehradun offers a wide range of scholarships to support students from diverse backgrounds, based on merit, financial need, gender, state domicile, and other criteria. Merit-based scholarships are available for students with excellent academic records in entrance exams such as JEE, CUET, and board exams. Those scoring above 95% may receive up to a 100% tuition fee waiver, while students scoring between 85% and 95% can avail of waivers ranging from 75% to 85%. For MBA aspirants, scholarships are awarded to candidates with high scores in CAT, NMAT, and academic performance, offering a 20% tuition fee waiver per semester in the first year.
The university also offers special scholarships like the Uttarakhand Domicile Scholarship, which provides a 25% to 33% tuition waiver to permanent residents of Uttarakhand. The Jyoti Freeship scheme supports students from economically weaker sections (annual family income below ₹8 lakh) with full or partial tuition waivers. The Shakti scholarship is designed specifically for female students with a minimum of 60–70% marks in Class XII and offers a 20% fee waiver. For sportspersons who have participated at national or international levels, the Vijay scholarship covers 35% to 100% of the tuition fee along with hostel benefits.
Additional scholarships include the Alumni Scholarship, which grants a 50% tuition fee waiver to UPES graduates continuing their studies, and financial aid for students who have lost a parent, offering ₹50,000 relief per semester. Children of UPES employees and siblings studying at UPES can also avail themselves of concessions ranging from 50% to 75%. Furthermore, program-specific scholarships are available for Humanities, B.Sc.
