Applicants must hold a graduation degree from a recognised university or institute affiliated with a recognised board. Candidates in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply, provided they can furnish a certificate or proof demonstrating a minimum attainment of 50% marks or equivalent grade.

For the MBA in Quantitative Finance program, candidates should have studied Mathematics or Statistics at the 10th or 10+2 levels.

Candidates who have completed their graduation from a foreign university must obtain a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) confirming the equivalence of the affiliated board of the university.

Reservation of seats for SC, ST, and PwD candidates is in accordance with the following guidelines:

  • 15% of seats reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates
  • 7.5% reserved for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates
  • 3% reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
  • 2 seats reserved for Kashmiri migrants
  • 15% of seats exclusively reserved for International Candidates.

SIBM Bengaluru MBA Selection Criteria

Candidates will be shortlisted for the written ability tests, group exercises, and personal interviews based on their SNAP test scores and academic history. Work experience will be viewed as a supplementary asset.

Details regarding the venue, timings, and other aspects of the selection rounds will be communicated to candidates via email or their registered SNAP ID.

The weightages for each round and the criteria for final candidate selection are as follows:
