NIT Uttarakhand Campus Facilities

The temporary NIT Uttarakhand campus is located in Govt. ITI, Srinagar. NIT Uttarakhand address is located at National Highway 58. The NIT Uttarakhand permanent campus is under construction. The campus is being designed in a modern way with all the basic facilities to make it a home away from home for its students.

The campus has a nice infrastructure and lush green surrounding, which gives the perfect environment to the students for their studies. The facilities given are:

• Well equipped library with thousands of books, e-journals, e-books, newspapers etc.
• A central computer centre with high-end facilities.
• Fully Wi-Fi enabled campus
• A multi-purpose auditorium with a capacity of 300 people
• An open-air theatre to host several activities
• A conference hall with a seating capacity of 70 people, for seminars, conferences etc.
• Within the campus, there is an SBI atm.
• A well-managed canteen to serve hygienic and tasty food at a reasonable price.
• A well-equipped gymnasium for health freak students.
• Indoor and outdoor sports facilities like cricket, volleyball, badminton, basketball, table tennis, football, and poker.
• NIT Uttarakhand has six Diesel Generator Sets ( 200 kVA) for the backup electricity supply.
• The institute has a movie club, which screens two movies each week in the auditorium.
• The auditorium is equipped with safety devices, 5,000 lux projector, three speakers, three amplifiers, sound mixer, eight surround sound speakers, and a DSP processor.
• The movie club also encourages students for their creativity.
• A dispensary is also there with a 24-hour nurse.
• Fully secured campus with seven supervisor and 76 security guards.
• Five boys and two girls hostel inside the campus.
