NIFT Chennai address is SH 49A, Vikram Sarabhai Instronics Estate, Tharamani in Chennai. National Institute of Fashion Technology Chennai campus has made up with a state-of-the-art infrastructure that caters to the needs of its students, faculty and staff. The students are required to spend a lot of time inside the campus in their academic life so the campus has all sorts of basic facilities provided for them. Chennai NIFT campus has a balanced set up in order to conduct all the courses – starting from the dedicated Computer lab, Machine room Material workshop to Garment construction (Sewing) Lab etc.

The graphic design is also being taught at NIFT Chennai campus so it has a well equipped Photography studio and a Mac lab within the campus. There are plenty of well-structured art rooms and classrooms for all the required courses. In addition to that, it has specialised labs and workshops with all kinds of knitting facilities like Flat knitting, Circular knitting, Shima Seiki etc.

Apart from the labs, like most NIFTs in India, Chennai NIFT also has a library. The Chennai NIFT library is considered as a resource centre, where students and faculty members can get a wide range of study materials.

Chennai NIFT campus has two auditoriums to conduct various presentations and cultural activities. The campus offers modern sports facilities including an outdoor basketball court, a Futsal, etc. There is also a ‘Outer courtyard’ within the campus, which is popular for all beautiful amalgamation of various activities.

NIFT Chennai hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls separately. The hostels have elevator and rooms on the first floor for students with disabilities. The hostel offers facilities like Regular visit of Doctor and Psychologist, Water dispenser available in every floor, Student Multi Activity Centre that caters to the needs of various sports & gym facilities, 24 X 7 hot and cold water available in bathrooms, on-campus stationary outlet, cafeteria and a beauty parlour. NIFT Chennai faculty members are also benefited with these hostel services.
