IIT Roorkee – Indian Institute of Technology Scholarships

The institute offers a variety of scholarship programs and financial aid to its students. All deserving and needy students are eligible to apply for any of the available scholarship programs.

Some of the most popular IIT Roorkee scholarship programs are listed below:

• James Thomason Scholarship: The James Thomason Scholarship is available to students with an AIR of up to 250. The scholarship will pay INR 25,000 per month to eligible students with a minimum CGPA of 8.0 in each academic year.
• SC/ST/PH Scholarship: Students from the SC/ST/PH categories are eligible for tuition fee waivers from the institute. This scheme allows students to receive a full tuition fee waiver.
• Air CMDR Shyam Chand Mehra Scholarship: This scholarship is offered by IITR to female BTech Electrical Engineering students. Students with higher CGPAs in their first and second years will be awarded INR 10,000 per year. Students with a higher CGPA in their fourth year will be awarded INR 15,000 per year.
• Naveen & Anu Jain Scholarship: The Naveen & Anu Jain Scholarship is awarded to IIT Roorkee BTech students whose annual parental income is less than INR 2 lakhs. Students enrolled in this scheme will receive INR 1,000 per month for ten months.
