IIIT Trichy Scholarships

IIIT Trichy Scholarships are provided to make the students’ life easier at the institute. It also accepts all sorts of Central Government Scholarships as well as scholarships provided by the Tamil Nadu government.

Avery Dennison Foundation Spirit of Invention Scholarship Program	Citizen of India Currently enrolled in the first year of an undergraduate program (full-time) at one of the Participating institutes Demonstrate a high level of academic achievement Highly interested in innovation and invention
B.Tech. 2nd years – RECT’78 Alumni Scholarship	a student in the second year of the engineering programme, who has passed all the subjects (courses) of the first year without any arrears (all courses cleared in the first attempt)
Tamil Nadu SC/ST Scholarship Circular	For first-year UG students: pass in 10+2 and renewal cases pass in the previous year in B.Tech. SC and ST
Central Sector Scholarship Scheme Tamil Nadu Government – SC or ST & BC or MBC scholarship and Minority Scholarship	Students enrolled in professional or technical courses only from NAAC accredited Institutions or professional or technical programmes accredited by NBA or Institutions of National Importance or Central Funded Technical Institutions (CFCs).
Abundant Cauvery Delta Education Fund Scholarship for B.Tech and B.Arch Students	Citizen of India The students must not receive any other Scholarship from other sources. should not be subject to any disciplinary action. should be a regular student of the institute.
Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for Top Class Education for SC students	Total Family Income from all sources should not exceed 2 lakh per annum The SC students who have secured admission in the Notified institutions are eligible to apply for the scholarship. NIT, Trichy is one of the notified institutions.
Post Matric Scholarship for ODISHA government SC and ST students	Students may be eligible for the scholarship considering parental income and other terms and conditions for sanction of scholarship.
Scholarship Circular for National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation	Income from all sources should not exceed Rs.3 lakh or 1.80 lakh per annum. Indian students with at least 40% of disabilities certified as per definition under the Persons with Disabilities Act 1995. Must have secured at least 50% marks in 10+2 examination Physically handicapped students pursuing UG or PG course.
Chief Ministers Award for Tamil Nadu students	Marks scored under TN State Board syllabus. Boys: 1069 marks and girls: 1082 marks. SC and ST
Tamil Nadu BC Scholarship	For first-year UG students: pass in 10+2 and renewal cases pass in the previous year B.Tech. BC and MBC

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Students Belonging to Minority Communities	must have got admission in the recognized professional degree course and must have secured not less than 50% marks at senior secondary (10+2) Students belonging to Minority Community (Muslim, Sikh, Parsi, Buddhist, Christian)
Special Scholarship for Tamil Nadu students residing in the hostel for higher education or Post Graduates other than M.Tech	Postgraduate students other than M.Tech – the student must be residing in the hostel SC and ST
