IIIT Trichy Placements

Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli, being one of the most prestigious academic and research institutes in India. it is located in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. It is a non-profit Public-Private Partnership and is funded by the Government of India, Government of Tamil Nadu and the Indian industry partners in the ratio of 50:35:15.

Those Industry partners, who fund the institute include Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS), Infosys, Ramco Systems, ELCOT, and Navitas (Take Solutions). It one of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology. Along with the other IIITs, it is the status of Institute of National importance in 2017.

The Department of Training and Placement is functioning separately in IIIT Trichy since July 2017. IIIT Trichy is actively involved in placing its students in popular companies. The Training and Placement Cell of IIIT Trichy is responsible for looking after the placement activities for undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students. In order to secure better placements maintains a good relationship with the recruiters. 

IIIT Trichy Placements are getting better every year.  The Training and placement cell work constantly starting from sending an invitation to companies, registering students for various job roles, organizing pre-placement talks and to finalizing the date of placement session.

TPC also organises summer internships to students during their semester break for its students. Last year a wide number of Multinational companies from all around the country participated in IIIT Trichy placement drive.
