IIIT Trichy Courses and Fee Structure
Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli is also known as IIITT or IIIT Trichy is one of the premier intuitions for engineering studies in India. It is an Institute of National Importance. It is among the 19 IIITs built under the non-profit Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Model by MHRD. it was established in the year 2013.
IIIT Trichy is fully funded by Government of India, Government of Tamil Nadu and Industry Partners in the ratio of 50:35:15. The industry partners of IIIT Trichy include Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS), Infosys, Ramco Systems, ELCOT, and Navitas (TAKE Solutions).
IIIT Trichy courses are designed as a blend of practical and theoretical knowledge to match the students’ professional skills with industry trends. The curriculum of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the institute are upgraded as per global standards.
IIITT offers two undergraduate courses. The Undergraduate level courses include Bachelor of Technology or B.tech Programs in Computer Science and Engineering with a duration of 4 years and Bachelor of Technology or B.tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering with a duration of 4 years.
The admission to B.Tech programs is done through JEE Mains. The candidates who score above the cut-off they are admitted to UG program through Centralized Seat Allocation Board or CSAB and Joint Seat Allocation Authority or JoSAA counselling process followed by the reservation policy of Govt. of India.
IIIT Trichy offered three Postgraduate level Programs namely Master of Technology or M.tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a duration of 2 years, Master of Technology or M.tech in Software Engineering with a duration of 2 years and Master of Technology or M.tech in Database Systems with a duration of 2 years.
