IIFT Results and Cutoff

The selection process of IIFT is conducted on the basis of the admission exam that is held by the institution. The cutoff for every year is decided on various factors like exam difficulty, scoring pattern, the total number of candidates taking the test and the total number of seats available for the campus.

The entrance exam for 2020 is expected to have moderate to the high difficulty level. The institution takes in a total of 420 students every year.

The IIFT entrance examination is conducted on a 100 mark basis. The expected cutoff is estimated to be somewhere around 33-36 marks out of 100. However, the candidates must also score well in the sectional cutoff otherwise they are not eligible for admission.

The shortlisted candidates also have to sit for group discussions, essay writing and personal interview. NRIs have to appear for the GMAT examinations to be eligible for the selection process.
