CAT 2026 is tentatively scheduled for November 29, 2026, with the official exam date announcement expected in the last week of July 2026. The exam will be conducted in three slots across 170+ cities in India. The registration process is likely to begin in the first week of August 2026 on the official website, iimcat.ac.in.

For reference, CAT 2025 was conducted on November 30, 2025, and the results were declared on December 24, 2025. The PI rounds and admission process for the 2026 batch through CAT scores are currently underway at IIMs and other leading B-schools.
