The results of the selection for the vacant 3295 posts were declared on Monday, following the order of the Supreme Court in connection with the direct recruitment 2013 for the posts of constables in the Uttar Pradesh Police. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board declared a cut-off for the selection of 3295 candidates in interest to 44796 candidates earlier selected for the post of constables.
The result of selection on direct recruitment 2013 for 44796 posts was published on 16 July 2015.
Following the Supreme Court order, now the result of the selection of:
- 1895 constable civil police,
- 615 constables in PAC and
- 785 posts of fireman in the fire department
has been declared. The board has also published cut-off marks for selected candidates. The cut-off marks for the unreserved category are 313.616, 307.233 for OBC, 283.4033 for SC and 247.2333 for ST respectively.

The final selection result will begin in January 2020:
The Police Recruitment Board stated that the results of the written examination conveyed on 27 and 28 January 2019 for the recruitment of 49568 soldiers of police and PAC posts will be announced in 2-3 days. The test result will be presented on the board’s website.
The Verification of candidates’ educational certificates, physical standard test and race will be developed in November / December 2019. The final selection result will get published in the first week of January 2020.
The board also stated that online applications were called for recruitment to a total of 49568 posts which included-
- 31360 posts of soldiers in civilian police
- 18208 posts of soldiers in PAC.
- And around 19,38,643 candidates were received.
The recruitment board stated that the executive body has been chosen to build the recruitment process for 5805 posts of jail warders, firemen and cavalry police. Its examination will be administered soon. Simultaneously with this, the sub-inspector (Sub Inspector) 2018 has been introduced. The process of selection of the working organization is going on as per the provision.
