In keeping with the best practices among Top Global B-Schools, SDMIMD has introduced scholarship schemes for aspiring students to the PGDM 2018-20 Batch.
‘We are having applicants mainly from engineering and commerce backgrounds. We would also love to see more diversity in terms of gender, work experience across industries and undergraduate majors. We are sure that these Merit Scholarship Schemes will motivate the academic achievers from different discipline to take-up the SDMIMD PGDM Program’said Admissions Chairperson of SDMIMD, Prof. S.N. Prasad. The Merit Scholarship of Rs. 75000 is introduced to applicants who have 70% or above aggregate marks in 10th, 12th and Graduation.
Speaking on the ‘EmPowering Women’ scholarship, Dr. N.R. Parasuraman, Director of SDMIMD said, ‘ Encouraging women to become leaders and managers is the core to empowerment of women in general. Women with work experience desirous of pursuing PGDM must be motivated!. Hence, we have introduced ‘Empowering Women’ sponsorship of Rs. 1,00,000 to support Women with work experience of one year or more to take-up our PGDM Program’.
