    SBI PO is considered to be a lucrative career and a white-collar job. It is the toughest of all the bank jobs. It is a very popular exam and it gives an opportunity to work for the renowned bank in India. SBI is the largest commercial bank that ensures the candidates a secure future.     Exam pattern of SBI PO:

    The exam of SBI PO will be conducted in three phases- Prelims, Mains, and Group discussion/ Interview.

    Prelims and Mains exam of SBI PO will be conducted in online mode. Group Discussion/ Interview will be of face to face interactions.

    SBI PO prelims exam pattern:

    0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer and no marks will be deducted if any question is left blank or not attempted.

    The study schedule covers all the topics from each section of the SBI PO prelims exam. Plan the timetable like to cover all the topics before the exam make a point that the candidates should take one mock test daily, carefully analyze all the questions and answers that the candidates skip in the mock test.

    The candidates can divide the time like 1 hour for each topic. And take the mock test for 1 hour and analyze the mock test for 1 hour.

    Preparation tips and books for section wise:

    English language:

    This section is one of the easiest one in the prelims exam. The candidates need to focus on grammar. Have the clear idea about the concept on the use of the adjective, prepositions, etc. practice daily the comprehension part and improve the reading habit to finish this section fast as it will be easy for the candidates to score more and also can save time.

    Reading newspaper will also help to enrich the vocabulary part and increase the reading speed. Try to get a good command over grammar in order to score better in this section.

    Quantitative Aptitude:

    This section is all about calculations. The candidates have to work on their speed as there will be more numerical which are to be solved in a limited period of time. Practicing every day will be of great help for the candidates. Take at least 2 mock tests daily to improve the speed and it will also help to analyze the mistakes and to correct them.

    Study the shortcuts for multiplication, division, and squares. Improve the percentage calculation speed and understand the use of percentage to do fraction type problems easily.

    It is also one of the scoring sections. The candidates need to cover subjects like history, geography, political science, economics, etc. current affairs of the last 6-12 months is very important. Read newspapers daily and be up to date.

    Mainly stay updated with current affairs giving special reference to the economy, finance, and banking sector.

    It is one of the tricky one and the candidate must keep patience while doing the calculations. The main topics that need to be focused are puzzles, seating arrangements, syllogism, etc. Practicing is required and one can score more in this section also.
