SBI PO 2019
State Bank of India Probationary Officer abbreviated as SBI PO. It is a lucrative careers opportunity that guarantees the employee with a secured future along with all the prestige attached to the position for working within the government sector in our country. This is one of the most sought-after job opportunities in India. It is the position of probationary officers in different branch of India. Approximately 5000 vacancies are filled through this recruitment exam.
The selection process comprises of two examinations, preliminary as well as main examination. This is then followed by an interview. Selection of candidates is based on their performance in the main exam and then in the interview. The selected candidates are then provided with basic knowledge of the banking sector before joining. As lucrative as it is, this exam is also not an easy one.
The above knowledge of banking sector is imparted to the candidates through an online course which the candidates need to mandatory take up before they join. After each of these steps is cleared, the candidates who are selected, are required to deposit and amount of Rs. Two lakhs only as a bond at the time of joining. SBI PO Eligibility 2019
Aspiring candidate who wish to appear for SBI PO examination need to meet up with the eligibility criteria as laid down by the government of India. They need to hold a graduate degree or any other equivalent qualification in any discipline, from a recognized university. The criteria includes various parameters like age, educational qualification, number of attempts, nationality of the candidate as well as the pass percentage of the exam in which the candidate has last appeared. There are many relaxations offered to candidates belonging to SC, OBC, ST categories as well. Let’s look into the eligibility criteria based on individual parameters.

SBI PO 2019 Apply Online
In order to apply for this exam, the candidates need to fill a form. This form is going to be made available on the official website of State Bank of India. The official website is statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in.
The guidelines for the registration are as under:
- All the candidates who are preparing to apply for this exam shall first check with the eligibility criteria of the same. Only those candidates who can satisfy each of the criteria are eligible to appear for the exam.
- The candidate must have a valid email ID and must adduce a mobile number while registering. These details are important for any correspondence or detail that may be communicated to the candidate through an email or over the mobile phone.

- If the registration is successful, the candidates will receive their personal registration ID and password on registered email-ID.

SBI PO Exam Pattern 2019
It is important that before the candidates appear for the exam, they become conversant with the rounds of the same. There are three main stages of SBI Po examination. The preliminary stage, the main exam and following the main exam, the candidates can appear for interview and group discussion round.
- SBI PO Preliminary Exam Pattern:
- The preliminary exam is an online entrance test.
- The duration of the exam is one hour only.
- The questions asked in this exam are objective type and consists of 100 marks.
- The questions asked in the paper are divided into three categories namely Quantitative aptitude, Reasoning ability and English Language.
There is a negative marking system as well. For every wrong response, 1/4th of your mark, that is 0.25 mark is deducted.

SBI PO Admit Card 2019
Without a valid admit card, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the examination. The candidates appearing for the examination will download their respective admit card only. The Admit Card is issued shortly after the registration is complete. The Admit Card for SBI PO Main Exams is issued after the SBI PO Prelims Exam Result is announced.
The Centres where the SBI PO exam is conducted at various cities in each State and Union Territory. This ensures the convenience of the students as they do not have to travel to far off places and waste their time. The preference of centre is provided by the candidates in their application forms. The exam centres are allocated based on the principle of first apply first serve.
The exam centres once allotted cannot be changed. The SBI reserves the right to change or allot any other exam centres than the one chosen as a preference by the candidates.
The Admit Card will contain the name of the centre along with the complete address of the same.
SBI PO Result 2019
The results for Preliminary exams as well as that of main exams are separately announced. Those candidates who clear the Prelim Exam with a valid cut off as set by the SBI shall be eligible to appear for the Main Exams.

- Click on the option of select results of recent exams
- Enter your roll number and date of birth. You will have to enter the captcha for verification. Then press the Submit button.
SBI PO Cut off 2018
The cut off for the year 2019 will be announced by the State Bank of India along with the Result. The cut offs for Prelims are declared before the Cut off for Main exam.
