RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) released important updates for the ALP and Technician posts. The board has also released an important notification for the candidates who did not appear for the medical examination which was held from June to September.
The board has requested the absentee candidates to give a written reply till 15th December 2019 for the failure in appearing for the recruitment exam.
The medical examination for the candidates was conducted from 23rd June 2019 to 14th September 2019 and from 24th September 2019 to 26th September 2019. The document verification followed by the medical test was held on 23rd June 2019 to 14th September 2019 and from 24th September 2019 to 26th September 2019 for absentee candidates at Shambhunath Institute of Engineering and Technology, Education Block, Jhalwa, Prayag Raj (Allahabad).
The board has also mentioned in the notification that the candidature will be cancelled if the candidate failed to provide a satisfactory reply. The candidates who are either absent for medical exam and hereby informed that they have to submit clarification to RRB Allahabad within 30 days i.e. 15th December 2019 with valid reasons along with the supporting documents that why the candidature cannot be cancelled.

The candidates who have appeared for the Technician post will be called for the document verification process after the 2nd CBT exam. The candidate’s performance in both Part A of the 2nd CBT and computer-based aptitude test, subject to the qualifying the Part B of the 2nd stage will be called for the DV.
The DV process is conducted to check that if the candidate is eligible for the post of Technician. The candidates can present the documents only in Hindi and English.
The documents required for document verification:
- Class 12th certificate or mark sheet.
- NCVT/SCVT certificate.
- Caste certificate.
- OBC-NCL certificate.
- Income certificate for waiving exam fee.
- Original discharge certificate for ex-servicemen.
- Photocopy of Aadhar Card.
- Medical certificate for PWD candidates.
- NOC for serving employees.
- NOC for serving defence personnel.
- Gazette notification/ legal document in case of name change.
- Receipt of payment is done through the SBI challan or post office challan.
- Self-certification by transgender candidates.
- J and K domicile certificate.
- Decree of divorce.
- Spouse’s death certificate.
The final appointment will be done by the board only after the requisite medical exam which will be done in the Railway hospital.
