RRB JE Recruitment Exam
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is an organisation established by the Ministry of Railways to carry out recruitments exclusively for the Railway department in India. Railway Recruitment Boards operate from the different railway zones and conduct different examinations according to the vacancies. One such examination conducted by the RRB is that of RRB JE for the recruitment of Junior Engineer.
Important dates for RRB JE 2019 –
• 1st Stage CBT – 22nd May, 2019
• 2nd Stage CBT – 19th September, 2019
• CBT stage 2 results – 1st November, 2019

• Document Verification Admit Card – 7th November, 2019
• Final document verification – Within November and December
Eligibility criteria for the post of RRB JE –
Age Limits (according to categories) :
• General – 18 to 30 years
• OBC – 18 to 36 years
• SC and ST – 18 to 38 years
Educational criteria : Candidates must possess a three year diploma or degree in engineering or its equivalent from a recognised college or university.
Medical criteria : Several medical fitness standards are required to checked by the candidates to be selected for the given posts.
Documents to be carried for document verification –
A few important documents that the candidates must carry to the venue of document verification are as follows –
1. High school Examination certification as proof of age.
2. Mark sheet for classes 10 and 12
3. Degree or diploma in engineering certificate
4. Semester wise mark sheets for the engineering degree
5. Certificate of Scheduled castes or Schedule tribes.
6. Income certificate to waive off examination fee for Economically Backward Classes
7. Photocopy of Aadhar card
8. Self-declaration for Ex-Servicemen
