The Railway Recruitment Board has started to invite application from the candidates on March 12, 2019 and the last date to apply online was scheduled as April 12, 2019. The Railway Recruitment Board has received lakhs of application in which only a few candidates who have aptly qualified all the eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear for the examination. The Final date to release the rejected application status is scheduled to be on September 6, 2019.

Steps to follow:
The following must be followed by the candidates to check whether their application is rejected or not
- The candidates must visit the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board, “rrb.gov.in“.
- There in the what’s new section the candidates will find the link that says, “Rejected Application of Group D examination”.
- The candidates will be taken to a new page where the list of Registration numbers of all the rejected applications will be found.
The candidates whose application has got selected has to start preparing for the Group D examination which is a 100-mark examination. There will be a total of 100 questions. Each correct answer carries 1 mark and as for the wrong answers 1/3rd mark will be reduced. The exam is divided into 4 categories, which are
- General Science
- General Reasoning and Aptitude
- General Knowledge
