The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued the notification for the 2019 Odisha Judicial Services (OJS) on November 13th 2019. The official notification can be obtained at the official website, opsc.gov.in.
The OJS 2019 application process is being carried to fill 51 posts of Civil Judges in Odisha Judicial Services. Out of the cumulative 51 vacancies, 17 vacancies are reserved for women candidates. The closing date to apply for the same is December 18th, 2019.

Age limit:
Enthusiastic candidates need to be holding a minimum age of 23 years old and not beyond 35 years with relaxation in the uppermost age limit for candidates from reserved categories.
The application process for the OJS 2019 will commence from November 19th, 2019 at OPSC’s application website i.e., www.opsconline.gov.in .
Educational Qualification:
- The candidates shall hold a law degree.
- The candidate also must carry some experience as a Superintendent or Ministerial Officer in a court or Translator or an Assistant Law Officer of the Law Department
Selection Criteria:
The selection process will include going by three rounds first of which will be a preliminary exam. The candidates who unblock the preliminary exam will appear for the main exam followed by an interview round will be convoyed.
Exam Centers:
The preliminary written examination may be maintained at 5 zonal centers:
- Balasore,
- Berhampur,
- Bhubaneswar,
- Cuttack &
Sambalpur. Meanwhile, if there are sufficient numbers of candidates are not ready for any of the zones of Balasore, Berhampur, and Sambalpur, the candidates opting for those zones will be arranged at Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
The main written examination may be held either at the above 5 zones or at Bhubaneswar and Cuttack zones only.
Application Fee:
The application fees shall be non-refundable & non-adjustable Fees – Rs.500/-.
