NEET PG Merit List 2018 – Latest Information

NEET is a national-level exam, which is undertaken by many students who wish to find opportunities in various private as well as government colleges. The exam helps a student to find admission in medical courses as well as dental courses.

The national eligibility cum entrance test for PG is held for three hours thirty minutes. The students are tested on their knowledge of what the candidates have studies in the undergraduate degree and in the one-year internship.

NEET merit list 

After the NEET exam is over, NEET PG results are released online. It must be remembered that NEET PG results are declared before the NEET merit list. NBE releases both of these on the official channel. Only those candidates who secure the minimum qualifying scores will be included in the merit list.

A candidate can have a look at the merit list to know if they secured a rank or not. Here is how to find your name on the NEET PG merit list:

  • After the merit list has been released, you should click on the link for the merit list and load the page.
  • You will then have to add details such as your date of birth and registration number, in order to check your rank.
  • Once you add the details, you will be able to see your rank.

In case two or more candidates have the same scores, the result will be decided with the help of a tiebreaker. The result may be decided as per the following parameters:

  • The candidate has less negative responses in all parts of the paper.
  • Candidates with higher marks in Part C will be given better
  • Students with less negative responses in Part C will be allotted a better rank.
  • If the tie still exists, the same parameters will be followed for Part B and Part A.
  • Lastly, the person who is older in age will be given better

Here are some things that you need to know about NEET PG merit list:

  • The merit list will be released online by NBE.
  • No communication will be made with the candidate in order to inform them about the release of the merit list.
  • Only the candidates included in All India 50% Quota Rank will be able to participate in the counseling.
  • State authorities will make use of the NEET-PG merit list to prepare a state merit list.
  • Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir will not be considered for admission to All India 50% Quota Rank.
