  • NEET PG 2019 Exam Day Guidelines – Instructions Detail

    NEET 2019 will be conducted by The National Board of Examinations (NBE). NEET is national level eligibility and entrance test for students who wish to find admission for graduate courses and post-graduation course in medical fields. This exam will help the students to find admission in both private and government colleges.

    NEET exams are held once a year. This exam tests the student’s knowledge of the subjects Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

    Guidelines for NEET 2019 

    Here are some guidelines to follow when you appear for NEET 2019 exams:

    The Do’s

    Here are the things you need to keep in mind:

    • The NEET 2019 exam will be held in a single session. The candidates will be required to get to the exam hall on the day of the exam by 1:30 PM, which is two hours before the commencement of the exam.
    • The candidate will also be required to bring their admit cards. A candidate without the exam admit card will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. Print out your admit card at least a day before the exam. You should also carry a copy of your admit card, just in case you lose the one you have.
    • The candidate should also carry their SMC/MCI registration If the candidate fails to provider their provisional or original copy of the SMC/MCI registration certificate, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
    • In the case, where the candidate has obtained their degree or primary medical qualification from abroad, then the candidate is to bring their original qualification certificate for the screening test.
    • The candidates for NEET 2019 exam should also bring an original copy of valid ID proof. A candidate can bring any one of the following documents as valid ID proof:
      • Aadhar Card (with photograph)
      • Driving License,
      • PAN Card, or
      • PAN Card

    In case the candidate is carrying an e-Aadhar Card, then the candidate must ensure that all details on the Aadhar card are visible clearly. The print out of the e-Aadhar card should be clear.

    The Donts 

    The candidates appearing for NEET 2019 should keep in mind that they do not bring any of the following articles to the exam hall:

    • Stationery items, such as pens, erasers, writing pads, pen drive, etc. to the exam hall.
    • Ornaments such as earrings, rings, bangles, etc. are not allowed inside the exam hall.
    • There will be no arrangements for keeping belts, goggles, electronics, mobile phones, etc.
    • No eatable items should not be allowed either.

    Details about when to reach and other timings 

    Here is all that you need to know about NEET 2019’s timings:

    • Candidates should reach the exam hall by 1:30 PM on the date of the exam. The candidates can enter any time between 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM.
    • The candidate login will begin at 3:15 PM.
    • The exam will be held for three hours, from 3:30 PM (sharp) to 7:00 PM.

    NEET 2019 Security check 

    NEET exams have a strict method of performing security checks. Here is all that you need to know about NEET security checks:

    • The security guards of the exam center will thoroughly check the ID proof of the exam candidate.
    • To be sure, the candidate’s left thumbprint will also be taken.
    • A digital image of the candidate will be taken at the NEET exam center of the candidate appearing for the exam, for future reference.

    • Candidates should begin their preparations early. Starting early will help the candidate understand which sections they need to work extra hard on.

    • The candidate should spend an appropriate time revising the contents they have already studied and read about.
    • A candidate should also make it a point to appear for some mock tests and should test themselves.
