Q. Congratulation Archit. How are you feeling after this achievement?

I am really happy with my performance in the NEET 2017. However, I was not expecting such a good rank. We all are overwhelmed right now and it is surely a moment where dream comes true.

Q. Other fellow aspirants also knew what books and syllabus points were to be prepared. But what according to you ensured success for you?

I find my passion for the medical field to be the primary reason for my success. It is this passion that made me hard working and consistent in my efforts. My family’s support gave the motivation to go on relentlessly.

Q. What guidance would you give to the future aspirants of NEET 2018 ?

Friends, the foremost quality that you should have or inculcate is to study passionately with consistency. I studied for 10 to 14 hours a day and never felt drained. Secondly, follow your teachers. Study NCERT books. It is important for every medical aspirant to be thorough about the syllabus of NCERT, as it helps in long run. And lastly, make your own strategy. Do not follow a third person’s strategy rather make your own.

Q. Did you take coaching? Do you think coaching is required to crack NEET?

Yes, I did join a two year NEET course at Allen Career Institute in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. I think it is important to join a coaching while preparing for national level competitive exams. With the help of experts in Allen, I found my preparation to be more streamlined and focused.

Q. Which specialisation do you prefer to pursue at UG/PG level?

I want to become a Neurosurgeon. That is one area that interested me towards the medical field.

Q. Were you active in any recreational activities and what are the future plans now?

I played basketball whenever it was possible , and for the other times i enjoyed the company of virtual games in my mobile.
