The campus was inaugurated by Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al maktoum, in the presence of Sheikh Nahayan mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, UAE; Mr. Kamal Nath, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Government of India; Mr. Bakul Nath, Vice president, Institute of Management Technology; Dr. Anwar Ali, Director, IMT Ghaziabad and Dr. Arun Mohan Sherry, Chairman, Joint Admission Committee, IMT, added the release.

“India will require many new managers as the economy is projected to grow at 6.9 pc in 2009. The new campus will strengthen intellectual engagement between India and the UAE. IMT, Dubai provides niche business courses unique to the region, while simultaneously capturing the latest trends in global commerce,” the release quoted Mr. Kamal Nath as saying.

After the first year and the corporate internships, students need to specialize either in Marketing, Finance, Human Resources or Project Management. The school is first ever Indian b-school to get an approval from ministry of higher education and scientific research, Govt. of UAE, added the release.
