IIFT Scorecard

The IIFT 2019 exam conducted on the 2nd of December 2018 was a moderately tough and important exam for the candidates wanting to pursue management courses in the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in New Delhi and Kolkata. The candidates need to go through another round of competition to be accepted in the reputed University. The candidates, if chosen after the IIFT exam will be called for a personal interview and writing test accompanied by a group discussion. The chosen few will then finally be accepted as students in the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade if they succeed in impressing the authorities present at the interview and if they have an impressive resume.

Only the worthiest candidates will be shortlisted for the process of writing ability and personal interview. The results of the IIFT exam will be declared in the last week of December 2018 or the third week of January 2019. The official link to the IIFT 2019 scorecard will be released on the official website for all the candidates to check. The candidate will have to enter their roll number or registration number and fill in the password provided to them by the system while filling the application. The candidates will have to get ready for the writing skill assessment and the interview if they are able to clear the IIFT exam.

The steps involved in checking one’s results or scorecard are mentioned below.

Step: 1

The candidate will have to open the link that is available on the official website of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

Step: 2

The link will require some details like the candidate’s registration number and password or date of birth. The candidate will need to fill in these details and then click the ‘submit’ button on the bottom of the information box.

Step: 3

The IIFT 2019 scorecard of the registered candidate will be displayed on the screen and the candidate is advised to download and print the scorecard for future reference. The scorecard of the candidate will contain the details about their performance in the examination.  It will determine if the test taker was able to clear the cut off required to be called for the next stage.

There are six sections in the IIFT examination and every section has its own cutoff. The candidates will be required to clear the cut off of every section to be qualified enough to be called for the written ability test, personal interview, and the group discussion.

The scorecard of the candidates who appeared for the IIFT 2019 examination will contain the following few details.

  • Section-wise marks obtained in the exam
  • Maximum marks in each section
  • Sectional cut off for IIFT 2019
  • Total marks obtained by the candidate
  • Percentile in IIFT 2019 result

The candidate is advised to download and take a print out of this scorecard as it may be required when the candidate is called for the personal interview and group discussion.

The final result will be disclosed by the end of March. The group discussion and personal interview results will also be declared on the official website. The candidates will see a PDF format list which will contain all the names of the candidates that are selected in the final round. These candidates will be admitted in the reputed Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in either of the two campuses.

The only details of the candidate that will be mentioned will be the roll number, the name of the candidate and the application number given to the candidate by the system when filling out the application form.

These categories wise cut off is from the IIFT exam conducted in 2017 for the batch of 2018-2020. The section wise cut off is very important for the selection for the personal interviews. Here is the section wise cut off for the batch 2018-20.
