IIFT conducted their own paper in the year 2018 and have hence forth had a singular outlook to this front. With an intake of only 420 students the IIFTs have had a transition in the question paper they have been setting for the past few years.

The difficulty level rising as the years pass is because of the high competition level and also the amount of intakes in the rise. There was a gradual change in cut offs noticed in the past formats from a mere 37 to 41 marks to a higher 47-50 marks cut off.
