The Electronic Corporation of India (ECIL) has announced on the official website about 200 vacancies for the post of Junior Technical Officer (JTO). The application process for this post has now begun, and interested candidates can start applying for the same.

ECIL, which was established to create a strong base for electronics in India which mainly focuses on the sectors of nuclear energy, space and defence sectors. The vacancies announced by ECIL are on a contract basis of 6 months and will involve working for various projects in India, especially Jharkhand.

Before applying for the post of Junior Technical Officer at ECIL, the most crucial step for candidates is to take a look at the eligibility criteria for the post. Until and unless a candidate us eligible for the post, the application cannot be made. The educational qualification needed to become a JTO at ECIL are –

A degree in

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering or,
  • Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or,
  • Mechanical Engineering or,
  • Computer Science Engineering or,
  • Information and technology

The Candidate must have 60% aggregate from a university or institution which is recognised in India. Freshers are welcome to apply for the post as there is no minimum working experience required.

The selection procedure for Junior Technical Officer involves the marks obtained in the B.E. or B.Tech examination. These qualifying marks will then be verified along with other documents in the document verification process which will be held in Hyderabad.

The application process, which began from 19th September, will be over 30th September, 2019. This interested candidates must apply as soon as possible.   2. Select ‘Careers’ under the various options available on the homepage.
  3. Then choose the option of ‘e-Recruitment’.
  4. Follow the procedure of application

Candidates are required to take a printout of their application form for future references. The application serial number should also be noted and saved for future references. The notification by ECIL strictly states that incorrect information by the candidate will be subjected to cancellation of their application. Similar will be the consequences, in the case of fabricated information or documents.

For the document verification, candidates will have to carry the following documents –

  1. Registered application with a passport size photograph.
  2. Documents to verify the date of birth, qualification, experience (if any), caste or disability (if applicable).
  3. Category certificate.

Selected candidates need to join within 15 days of selection. Other details will be soon released by the ECIL.
