Summer was full of events and competitions for Galgotians, D-BET was one of them, 11th may 2013 Friday Management club of Galgotias University organized the competition and the topic was a real thoughtful one-Educational system needs serious reform in India. As it was the first ever debating experience for all the young minds, students participated in good numbers to enhance their intellectual and communicational level.

They all came across an intense discussion where some students were for the topic and few were against it.The event started in a Positive note when the judges gave a motivating introductory speech towards the participants, both the host were also enthusiastic and proactive. Audience also took part in between when one of the students came up with some informative statistics about Indian educational system. Everyone was encouraged to come up with their views. All the participants and the judges were stuck to the rules and regulations. It ended with a grand prize distribution ceremony, Where Three students came out as winners, They were presented with gifts and certificates from University.Galgotias management club encourages students to take part in real life problems, Social and economic issues and helps them to become more than a student by developing the thinking quotient inside their character. The event ended when Head, Management club Mr. Kanti nath Banerjee acknowledged the gathering and gave the vote of thanks and promised for more such kind of activities in near future.
