So much for the unpredictability of CAT! The most-feared and revered exam Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission into MBA programs at the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) followed exactly the same pattern and format as it did in 2006.

75 questions, 25 in each section, 4 marks for a correct answer and minus 1 for a wrong answer. Analyses of the paper from various coaching institutes are streaming in.

Meanwhile, Career Launcher predicts the overall cutoff for the IIMs between 102 and 107 marks. It predicts the quant section cutoff to be between 26 and 28 marks, logical reasoning and DI between 34 and 36 marks and English usage and verbal ability between 26 and 28 marks.
