About College
The Parliament of India established central University of Gujarat (CUG) through the Central Universities Act. No. 25, 2009 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It offers various courses under its six schools
Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences and Environment, Social Sciences, International Studies, Language/ Literature and Culture Studies, and Environment and Sustainable Development.
Central University Gujarat Ranking
The University was ranked overall 60th in India and 2nd among all the Universities in Gujarat in NIRF 2016 rankings. According to NIRF 2017, the University was ranked among the top 150 Universities in the country.
