UPSC CISF AC 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The CISF AC eligibility criteria include age limit, educational qualification, age relaxation and most important physical standards for the post of AC that should be considered before applying for the exam. In case if the candidates don’t fulfil the eligibility criteria then the candidate will be disqualified for the post of CISF AC by the UPSC.  The criteria are as follows:

a). Nationality:

Only the citizen of India is eligible to apply.

b).Sex:

Both male and female candidates can apply for the CISF AC exam.

c). Educational Qualification:

The educational qualification for appearing this competitive exam will be a graduate from the recognized university.

Possession of NCC B and C certificate will be a desirable qualification. This desirable qualification will be given consideration at the time if Interview/Personality tests only.

The candidates applying for the exam should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admissions to the exam.

d). Age limit:

The candidates must not have attained the age of 35 years on August 1, 2019, i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1983. However, the upper age limit prescribed above shall be relaxable up to a maximum of 5 years if a candidate belongs to SC or ST.

e). Number of Attempts:

Every candidate appearing at the exam who is otherwise eligible shall be permitted three attempts at the examination.

The candidates should have completed 4 years of regular service as on January 1, 2019, in the rank of Inspector(GD)/Sub Inspector(GD) including the period of basic training and should have a clear record of service till the issue of offer of appointment in UPSC CISF AC (Executive).
