Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MAH-CET is competitive entrance test exam conducted by Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra. It is a computer-based management entrance test applied for management courses like MBA/ MMS. Various Institutes in Maharashtra have made it compulsory for appearing before admission in their college. There are more than 400 MBA colleges who have made MAH CET exam as a gateway to their admission. Some of the major top MBA colleges include SPJIMR and JBIMS and Kj Somaya. This year it has been scheduled for second week of March. There are no exact dates provided by the DTE Maharashtra Government yet.
MH CET is vitally a speed-based test which comprises of various level of questions asked ranging from basic to moderate ones. The test is divided into four different sections with Objective Questions. It would cover various academic aspects from Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reading Comprehension. All this is to be solved in a span of 150 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes) with a total of 50 questions each section. As other competitive tests, in this also there is no negative marking. MAH-CET MBA 2019 Exam Date
The Candidates who appear for this year MAH-CET 2019 will be able to apply in one month from application window. The Registration for CET would be starting soon that will be in the third week of January 2019. Not to forget March 9 and 10, 2019 are the date for MBA CET 2019. As per the DTE of Maharashtra, there are chances of the exams being conducted in Online mode. The final decision and notifications would be available until the second week of January 2019. Only the eligible candidates would be able to apply for the admission and fill the application form. MAH CET APPLICATION FORM – The aspirants need to fill their application form online on DTE official website. This process would be expected to start from January 2019. The last date to fill online application form would be the second week of February 2019. The windows will be active from 22 January to 17 February actively for registering.
MAH CET ADMIT CARD 2019– Candidates who have paid the for fees of application would be able to download MAH CET admit card from the official website. This would be available last week of February 2019.
MAH CET Exam 2019: There would be a two-day window, where the exam would be conducted by DTE Maharashtra. This would occur in the month of March 2019.
MAH CET Result 2019: The result will be expected to arrive in March 2019 itself. In MAH CET results the aspirants would be able to look for All India Ranks, overall scores, percentiles and sectional as per their scores obtained.
MAH CET Counselling 2019: The shortlisted candidates would attempt for counseling round held in June 2019. The Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra will organize the counseling process for qualifying candidates to appear in the final admission in the well-known participating institutes.

MAH-CET MBA 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Those who are seeking to achieve a higher degree or Masters. According to MH-CET 2019, this is a Computer Related Exam which is held in Month of March in its 3rd week, for this registration will be conducted in last week of January.
The MAH-CET eligibility
Candidate should be residents of India. Non-Indian candidates are not allowed to be the part of this type of entrance exams
A Nominee should have degrees of bachelor from any of Indian Universities or any recognized University Grants.
A Candidate should be having minimum 50% marks in results. To Qualify such type of exams minimum percentage is decided so that capable candidate would able to take the course.
IF the candidates are of backward categories or Disability categories of Maharashtra State only then 45% is minimum marks required.
Those Candidates who are in their bachelor final year of any university which is recognized Grants commission or Association are also eligible for this MH-CET entrance exams.
A candidate is having grades/CGPA grades instead of marks then these all grades converted into marks. The bachelor degree obtained marks are also calculated, taking both things into consideration calculation both results and by rounding of all decimals final marks are given for that.
Admission can be sought in bases of B-schools of Maharashtra on basis of CAT and CMAI entrance exams too.
At present there no age limits decided for a type of exam like M-CET applicants are as per the MH CET eligibility.
MAH-CET MBA 2019, registration would be done online on its official portal www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. Candidates are requested to fill their forms and apply for MBA entrance exam in the fourth week of January. In the fourth week of January the online registration will commence and by mid of February, the registration ends. You need to follow the simple steps and register for MAH-CET 2019. DTE Maharashtra would not accept the forms submitted by courier or post. All the application and forms are accepted online only.

If you are not aware of the exam pattern of MH CET, we have tried to cover the major content. The test is a vital part for entering into various major colleges, prepare well before appearing for it. It is a computer-based test with 200 multiple choice question with a span of 150 minutes’ duration.
The questions will be divided into three sections.
Logical / Abstract Reasoning – This is conducted to know the thinking ability and accuracy. There are questions with figures, diagrams and various verbal reasoning. All will come with options for the best answer to choose from.
Verbal Ability/ Comprehension Reading – There is a passage for reading and questions are followed by it. It is used to test the student comprehension skills. There are questions on grammar, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of a passage, etc.
Quantitative Aptitude – The section includes a various question to analyze the speed and accuracy of candidates with various numerical calculations and number problems. It involved various arithmetic problems with ratio and proportion, quantitative reasoning, charts, graphs, interpretation of tables, etc.
Result and Counselling
The Result would be declared in the first week of June. Applicants can download their results online by visiting the portal.
The counseling procedure and seat allotment would be initiated after the results through the Centralized Allotment Process.
There would be an online form filled by candidate opting for their choice and as per their marks secured for the allotment of seats.
The preparation list would be justified on the basis of marks obtained by candidates.
Candidates have an option of filling the online form as per their preference through which candidates will be allowed to appear for MH CET counseling session.
MH CET MBA Admit Card 2019 would be released by Directorate of Technical Education of Maharashtra from the fourth week of April to the second week of May most probably. Those candidates who have successfully registered will have to download MH CET MBA 2019 admit card using their application number and password generated. Here are some of the steps to download MH CET MBA 2019 admit card.
MH CET Results 2019 would be announced by Department of Technical Education mostly in the first week of June. The result would be declared through online mode that can be viewed by logging to a portal with application form username and password. The result would specify the marks secured by a candidate during the entrance examination and various personal details like name, category and many more. There would be also total marks of each subject and the marks secured by an applicant in the entrance exam. The result of MH CET MBA would not be sent from the post due to any reason, it is only available online. The scorecard of MH CET would be available in PDF format where you have to get print for further use. Those candidates who have expected Cut Off marks would be able to attend the counseling process. The counseling process would be held in last week of June.
The result is expected to appear from March 10 to March 15, 2019.
Cut off is the minimum marks a candidate has to obtain to secure his position in the entrance examination. Also, it makes a candidate eligible for appearing in exams to various institutes of MH CET 2019. Candidates who have achieved Cut off marks would be able to participate in MH CET Counselling sessions. Candidates who secure marks below the cut off would not be able to appear for the admission process further.

As per the cut off ranking there are more than 360 Institute participating in admission procedure in state of Maharashtra. If your score is between 190-200 then your ranking will be between 1-55. You need to score higher in order to get better options for admissions.
