MAH-CET MBA 2022 Exam Information

Common Entrance Examinations (CETs) are an important aspect of the admissions process. With a well-known degree like MBA, numerous admission tests such as the CAT, CMAT, MAT, and CET have been held. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, often known as MAH-CET, is a competitive entrance exam administered by the Maharashtra Directorate of Technical Education. MAH-CET is an online-computer based entrance management admission exam for management programmes such as MBA and MMS. Various Maharashtra institutes have made it mandatory to appear before being admitted to their college. More than 400 MBA colleges have used the MAH CET exam as a stepping stone to admission. SPJIMR, JBIMS, and Kj Somaya are just a few of the top MBA colleges.It has been set for the second week of March this year. The DTE Maharashtra Government has not yet announced any specific dates.

The MH CET is primarily a speed-based test, with questions varying from basic to intermediate in difficulty.The exam is categorized into four portions, each with its own set of Objective Questions. It would include a wide range of academic topics, including logical reasoning, abstract reasoning, verbal ability, numerical aptitude, and reading comprehension. All of this must be completed in 150 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes), with each portion including 50 questions. There is no negative marking in this test, as in other competitive tests. Eligibility:

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.

  • Candidates must have completed a three-year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an institution accredited by the University Grants Commission or the Association of Indian Universities.The candidate should have at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent.

  • Students should have  minimum 50%marks in aggregate or equivalent who are physically disableded, or economically poorer. (This is only applicable for the candidates who belongs to Maharashtra State only)

  • Candidates enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree programme at any of the universities accredited by the University Grants Commission or the Association of Indian Universities in any discipline are eligible to apply.

MAH-CET MBA 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Those pursuing a master’s degree or higher education. This is a Computer-Related Exam, according to MH-CET 2022, which will be held on June 24, 25, and 26. From March 17, 2022, through March 17, 2023, this registration will be held.

The MAH-CET Eligibility

  • A resident of India is required. This sort of entrance exam does not allow non-Indian candidates to participate. 

  • A nominee must hold a bachelor’s degree from an Indian university or another recognized university.

  • A minimum of 50% in results is required for a candidate to be considered.A minimal percentage is required to qualify for such an exam so that capable individuals can take the course.

  • Only 45 percent is required if the candidates are from Maharashtra’s backward or disabled groups.

  • Candidates in their final year of a bachelor’s degree at an institution accredited by the Grants Commission or Association are also eligible to take the MAH-CET admission tests.

  • If an applicant has grades or a CGPA instead of marks, all of the grades are converted to marks. The bachelor’s degree obtained marks are also calculated, taking both factors into account, and final grades are given by rounding all decimals.

  • CAT and CMAT entrance exams can also be used to gain admission to B-schools in Maharashtra.

MAH-CET MBA 2022 Registration

Registration for MAH-CET MBA 2022 will be done online at www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in on the official website. From March 17, 2022, candidates must fill up forms and apply for the MBA admission exam. You must register for MAH-CET 2022 by following the simple procedures below. DTE Maharashtra will not accept forms sent via courier or postal service. Applications must be submitted online.

MAH-CET MBA 2022 Exam Pattern

MAH-CET MBA 2022 Syllabus

The following are the contents of the syllabus: –

A) Logical / Abstract Reasoning

There will be questions to measure your ability to think quickly and accurately in this section. Ones based on figures and diagrams, as well as questions requiring verbal reasoning, may be included in the test.

B) Quantitative Ability

The paper  contains questions concerning your ability to work with numbers quickly and precisely, conduct numerical calculations, and comprehend a variety of arithmetic difficulties such as ratio and proportion, percent, and so on. The test evaluates your numerical reasoning skills as well as your ability to comprehend tables, graphs, and charts.

C) Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension

This will feature texts with questions based on their contents to assess your understanding. Your command of the English language would be assessed by questions on grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, passage comprehension, and so on. Questions on (1) comprehension of the passage’s contents and (2) selection of relevant words, phrases, expressions, and similar language abilities would be used to test your English language proficiency.

Result and Counselling

  • In the second week of September, the results will be announced. Applicants can access their findings via the portal and download them.

  • Following the findings of the Centralized Allotment Process, the counseling procedure and seat allotment will begin.

  • For the allotment of seats, candidates would fill out an online form choosing their options based on their grades.

  • The preparation list would be justified based on the candidates’ final grades.

MAH-CET MBA 2022 Cutoff

The cutoff mark is the minimum score a candidate must get to secure a spot in the admission examination. It also qualifies a candidate to sit for tests at various MH CET 2022 institutes.
