IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Kanpur has activated the IIT JAM application 2020 Correction window. The candidates who have submitted the applications for IIT JAM 2020 exam and wish to make minor corrections in the application can visit the official website to make the corrections.
The application process for the IIT JAM 2020 was closed by the institute on 9th October 2019. As per the instruction given on the official website the last date to make corrections in the application is 28th October 2019.
As per the instruction, given for IIT JAM 2020 application correction, the candidates are required to login to the JOAPS portal for making the corrections. It must also be noted that some of the fields which require correction will be done only after the payment of an additional fee. The fields which require an additional fee include changing the PWD status, category, and Changing City.
As per the instruction, changing the city or town will be permitted only under exceptional cases add a fee of Rs.500/- will have to be paid. However, it has been clearly mentioned that payment of the additional fee does not guarantee the change of the city. Changing the category or gender may also require additional payment of the fee.
How to make changes in IIT JAM Application 2020:
- Visit the official website www.jam.iitk.ac.in.
- Click on the JOAPS portal given on the screen.
- Enter the email id or enrolment number and password in the given spaces.
- The application form of IIT JAM 2020 will be displayed on the screen.
- The candidates can make the required changes.
- After making the changes click on the submit button.
