VIT Vellore’s B.Tech. Admissions Requirements

Candidates must review the qualifying requirements established by the authority before applying to the B.Tech programme:

B.Tech. Selection Criteria at VIT Vellore

Choosing applicants for admission is done using VITEEE scores. Students applying with scores from the SAT exam and the JEE Main are also eligible. How can I apply for a B.Tech at VIT Vellore?

Four distinct methods can be used to distribute VITEEE application forms:

• Online mode: You must visit the VIT University’s official website. Once you sign up, an email with a password will be sent to you. Relogin now using the new password and complete all fields. There will be a new registration number generated. Pay the application fee of INR 1,150 now by Paytm, net banking, credit card, or debit card. Upload your scanned signature (6 cm to 2 cm) and photo (3.5 cm to 4.5 cm) in jpg or jpeg format after making a payment. Send no correspondence to the university.

Note: If a transaction is unsuccessful despite the money being deducted from your account due to a network problem. Please wait three working days before moving forward; once you have received the message from VIT, you may do so. If the transaction is still unfinished after four business days, send an email to [email protected].

• In person: You can pick up the prospectus from any university campus by presenting a DD for INR 1200 made out to “VIT university” and payable in Vellore.

• Offline mode: For a fee of INR 1200 in cash, students may also acquire the prospectus and application form from different post offices spread out over India. Fill out the form in black ballpoint pen, then fill in the bubbles with pencil.

Attach the most recent colour snapshot (Do not attest the photo). Note down the proper exam centre and working email address. If necessary, include any information about hostel accommodations as well.

Note 1: Students who applied through DD must send a physical copy of their application to VIT University, duly filled out and with all required supporting documentation.

Full-time B.Arch and B.Des courses are available at VIT University Vellore in a variety of subject areas. The minimum requirement for admission is 10+2 with PCM/B and an overall GPA of 60%. M.Tech. & MCA Admissions at VIT Vellore for 2023

At the PG level, VIT University also provides M.Tech, MCA, and M.Tech by Research programmes. The minimal requirement for admission is a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 60 percent.

To offer admission to these courses, VIT administers the VITMEE. A computer-based exam is VITMEE. An interview process with the shortlisted candidates precedes final admission. Candidates who have completed GATE are also eligible to apply in addition to VITMEE.

You can fill out an application for the M.Tech and MCA programmes online after paying an application fee of INR 1121. It is not necessary to mail the application form.

M.Tech. through Research Selection at VIT University Criteria: This criterion is determined in accordance with the course’s minimal eligibility requirements.

For those having an AMIE degree and a valid GATE, UGC, CSIR NET, or NBHM score, the written test will be given 40% weight, and the interview will be given 60%.

For a Master’s in Engineering, the applicable Master’s degree will be given 40% weight, and the written test or interview will receive 60%.

For those with an M.Sc. or M.CA. degree, the written test and interview will count for 60% of the final score, with the bachelor’s and master’s degrees receiving 20% and 20% weighting, respectively.

At the doctoral level, Ph.D. programmes are offered at VIT University Vellore. There are three delivery options for the course: internal (Full-Time), internal (Part-Time), and external (Part-Time).
