Mysore University Courses and Fees Structure
Mysore University belongs to the oldest universities in India. Since the year 1916, this prestigious university offers quality courses in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. This university has 37 postgraduate departments with eight specialised training and research centres. The university has a total of about 55 regular academic courses to offer among 3,500 students.
On the undergraduate level, Mysore University conducts Mysore University ug courses such as B.A.LLB, B.Com.LLB, Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Planning courses with a duration of five years. It also offers a Bachelor of Physical Education programme with a duration of three years. For both the B.A.LLB and B.Com.LLB programme, the fee is INR 1.31 lakhs.
In postgraduate level, Mysore University conducts Master of Arts with Ambedkar Studies, Ancient History & Archaeology, Anthropology, Christianity, Journalism & Mass Communication, Comparative Literature & Translation Studies, Co-operative Management and many more specialisations; Master of Social Work; Master of Science in Anthropology, Applied Geology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Food Science & Nutrition, Information Technology, Electronics, Criminology & Forensic Science, Sugar Technology, Physics, Organic Chemistry, Microbiology, Mathematics, Master of Commerce.
The university comes with other masters degree courses like Master of Technology with specialisations of Computer Science, Urban & Regional Planning, Material Science, CCT, CST; Master of Architecture, Master of Library and Information Science, MS in Information Technology, Animation, Master of Computer Application, Master of Business Administration in General, Agri-Business, Master of Law in Constitutional Law, International Law. Diploma courses are also available in Hardware & Networking, Dance, Music, Drama, Advanced Diploma in Information Technology, Science, Arts, Commerce, Multi-Media Production with a duration of two years.
The certificate courses are offers with specialisations of Persian, Arabic, Dr Ambedkar and Human Rights, Kannada, Urdu, Prakrit, Functional Hindi with a duration of six months. On doctoral-level Mysore University offers full-time Mysore University PhD course in Arts, Commerce, Science with a duration of three years.
