Mysore University has a huge campus covering 739 acres of land and which is extending to 261 acres of area. The lush green eco-friendly campus has all the necessities that a student need to have a comfortable stay. The pure and peaceful campus is away from the noise of the city and consist of an environment, which is perfect for education purposes.

Its modern renovated design has an ancient touch to enhance the heritage look. The state of art campus includes mesmerizing infrastructure and architecture. Mysore University address is located at Mysore Karnataka. The Mysore University Manasagangotri campus is now known as Karnataka State Open University from the year 1996.

The university has several libraries. Mysore University Library is filled up with more than 800,000 books, 100,000 volumes of journals and 2,400 journal titles. The folklore museum is situated inside the university campus.

A well-designed auditorium and amphitheatre have been constructed with the Mysore University campus for cultural purposes. Well equipped classrooms and computer labs for better learning. The whole university campus is divided in several centres, such as University Computer Center, International Center, Statistical Cell, Administrative Office, UGC-CSIR (NET) Coaching Centre, Students Employment Information Guidance Bureau etc.

Mysore University campus has a sports complex designed with the athletic ground, hockey ground, football ground, cricket stadium along with a swimming pool, tennis court, kho kho court, basketball court for sport-loving students. Within the campus, there are several canteens and a health centre for emergency purposes.

For a better staying of the students, Mysore university provides separate girls and boys Mysore University hostel with fully furnished rooms. For visitors, a guesthouse with comfortable accommodation is available.
