The University of Adelaide, Australia Admission Process

The University of Adelaide is one of the three oldest universities in Australia. This university has been ranked amongst the top 1% university of the world. So, getting admission in this premium university is really a tough job. The admission is totally merit-based and the admission process is different for domestic and international candidates. To get admission in the undergraduate or bachelor courses the domestic candidates can apply through South Australian Tertiary Admission Centre. International candidates can apply through a “the University of Adelaide” agent or in case the candidates want to apply by themselves, they need to submit the required documents to the university within the given deadline.

To be eligible for the University of Adelaide admission, the candidates need to score certain marks in the tests like – International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Pearson Test of English (PET) and Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE). 

The candidates who have not appeared in any of these above-mentioned tests need to complete an intensive program of English language successfully before taking admission to the University of Adelaide. In this case, the university also arranges a proper English Language Programme at the English Language Centre of the university. On completion of the programme, the candidate will get direct admission to the university. The international candidates, who have completed the programme with English as a second language or as an English Language Subjects can get admission in the university.
