Shobhit University, Meerut – Scholarship Policy 2025

Shobhit Institute of Engineering & Technology (Deemed-to-be University), Meerut is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive academic environment. As part of this vision, the University has instituted various scholarship programs to recognise and reward academic excellence, sports achievements, and social commitment among students.

1. Adarsh Women Empowerment Scholarship

• Eligibility: Female candidates with 60% or more in the qualifying exam

• Benefit: 20% tuition fee waiver

• Applicable For: All UG/PG programs

2. Defence Wards Scholarship

• Eligibility: Children of Defence personnel with 60% or more in the qualifying exam

• Benefit: 20% tuition fee waiver

• Applicable For: All UG/PG programs

3. Academic Merit-Based Scholarship

• Eligibility: Based on marks in qualifying exams

  • 75–80%: 25% fee waiver

  • 81–85%: 50% fee waiver

  • 86–90%: 75% fee waiver

  • Above 90%: 100% fee waiver

• Applicable For: All eligible students

4. Sports Scholarship

• Eligibility: Medal holders in sports events recognised by the Indian Olympic Association

  • State Level: 25% fee waiver

  • National Level: 50% fee waiver

  • International Level: 75% fee waiver

• Applicable For: All UG/PG applicants

5. Chancellor’s Scholarship

• Eligibility: Alumni of Shobhit University applying for PG courses

• Benefit: 20% tuition fee waiver

6. Babu Vijendra Shourya Samman Scholarships

• Eligibility: Wards of martyrs

• Benefit: 100% tuition fee waiver including university charges and accommodation

CUET-Based Scholarships

CUET (UG) 2025 Scholarship

• Eligibility: UG applicants through CUET (UG) 2025

• Criteria: Based on average percentile of the best 3 subjects (one must be English or Hindi)

Note: Students may present their best 3 subjects (including one language) for scholarship consideration, even if they don’t strictly match the recommended combinations. Final decision lies with the Admissions Committee.

CUET (PG) 2025 Scholarship

• Eligibility: PG applicants through CUET (PG) 2025 in relevant subject papers

General Terms and Conditions

• Scholarships are applicable only for the first year tuition fee.

• Renewal requires a minimum SGPA of 7.5 and 75% attendance, with no backlogs or disciplinary actions.

• Students can avail only one scholarship at a time.

• Ph.D. programs are not eligible for university scholarships.

• Scholarships are limited and offered on a first-qualified, first-served basis.

• The University reserves the right to modify or withdraw any scholarship without prior notice. The decision of the Admissions & Outreach Cell Committee shall be final and binding.
