Saveetha Engineering College offers a wide range of courses that are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education or AICTE as well as by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The institute is affiliated by Anna University Chennai.
Saveetha Engineering College has currently seven functioning departments namely Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Information Technology, Agriculture Engineering, Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering. These departments offer multiple courses on Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral level of study.
At the undergraduate level of study, Saveetha Engineering College offers both B.Tech and B.E in Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and more.
Apart from these aforementioned departments, the college also has the departments like Agriculture Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Medical Electronics with a duration of four years.
Saveetha Engineering College also offers courses on the postgraduate level. Candidates can opt for a degree of M.E in the courses like Communication & Networking, Embedded System Technologies, Applied Electronics, VLSI Design, CAD / CAM and more on both the full-time and part-time basis with a duration of two years.
In addition to that, the college also offers two degrees at the doctoral level i.e, PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Physics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering on both full-time and part-time basis.
