On a semester basis, Panjab University holds semester examinations twice a year. Even semester exams are held in May-June, and odd semester exams are held in November-December. The results are published within two months of the examination’s completion. PU also holds entrance exams for certain courses. The PU CET results are released within two weeks of the exam’s completion. To view the results, students must enter their roll number into the online portal.

For working executives and other students who have had to leave their studies due to personal reasons, the university also offers distance courses through the University School of Open Learning, Panjab University. Students who want to check Panjab University Result 2023 should do the following:

Step 1: Go to Panjab University’s official website.

Step 2: In the sidebar, click the ‘Results’ link.

Step 3: You’ll be taken to the Results page.

Step 4: On the results page, select the type of examination (Full Subject/Re-appear/Deficient Candidate/Additional Subject/Performance Improvement), semester, and roll number.

Step 5: Click on the relevant course’s result to download it in pdf format.

Panjab University 2023 Result: Marking Scheme

The university offers courses on a credit basis, which means that a student must earn a certain number of credits in each semester in order to be promoted to the next term. The student’s SGPA/CGPA Letter grade is calculated using the marks earned in internal assessments and end-of-semester examinations.

The conversion factor and assignment for converting SGPA/CGPA to percentage of marks will be the student’s final grades. Each paper has a passing grade of 35 out of 100.

Panjab University Revaluation 2023 Result

Students who want to improve their grades can apply for revaluation within 15 days of the results being announced. Following the announcement of the results, students may request revaluations, re-checking, and re-totaling of answer scripts.

The revaluation results will be posted on the official website one month after the application is approved. The best of the two scores will be used as a reference in the future.

Panjab University Exam Reappearance 2023

If a student fails an exam, he must retake the exam the following year. Application forms for re-appearance are completed online through the university.
