General & Merit-Based Scholarships

1. Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Memorial Scholarship

   • Awarded to financially needy and academically meritorious students.

   • Requires a CGPA of 7.5 or above, 85% attendance in class, 90% in assemblies, and annual family income below ₹2.5 lakhs.

   • Scholarship amount: ₹24,000 per year.

2. Merit Scholarships for B.Tech / B.Sc (Hons. Agriculture)

   • 95% and above in PCM/PCB: ₹1,20,000 per year.

   • 90% and above: ₹60,000 per year.

   • 80% and above: ₹40,000 per year.

3. B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

   • Diploma holders with 95% and above: ₹1,20,000.

   • 90% and above: ₹60,000.

   • 80% and above: ₹40,000.

4. B.Com / B.A / B.Sc Scholarships

   • Christian minority students may receive ₹10,000 per year.

   • High-performing NRI/SAARC students may also be eligible for separate fee waivers.

MBA Scholarships

5. Merit-Based Scholarships for MBA

   • UG performance 90% and above: ₹50,000 per year.

   • 80% and above: ₹20,000 per year.

   • 70% and above: ₹10,000 per year.

   • Karunya alumni are eligible for an additional ₹30,000 one-time grant.

M.Tech Scholarships

6. Based on UG CGPA

   • CGPA ≥ 9.0: ₹90,000 per year.

   • CGPA ≥ 8.0: ₹80,000 per year.

   • CGPA ≥ 7.0: ₹70,000 per year.

   • CGPA ≥ 6.0 (for alumni): ₹60,000 per year.

   • GATE-qualified candidates receive ₹10,000 per month as a stipend.

   • Karunya alumni also receive a one-time grant of ₹10,000.

Ph.D. Fellowships

7. Research Fellowship for Ph.D. Students

   • ₹25,000 per month for a duration of 3 years.

   • Requires a minimum of 60% in the qualifying degree.

   • Renewable based on academic performance.

Sports Scholarships

8. Sports Scholarships

   • Offered based on performance in sports trials and credentials.

   • Tuition fee waivers of 50% or 100% available.

Government and External Scholarships

9. Central/State/Agency Scholarships

   • Eligible categories: SC/ST, OBC, minority, economically weaker sections, women, persons with disabilities, and northeast students.

   • Includes schemes like AICTE Pragati, Saksham, Swanath, PG GATE, etc.

Additional Support Schemes

10. Alumni and Benevolence Funds

    • Financial aid for wards of pastors, staff children, or economically weak students.

    • Emergency aid through Student Benevolent Fund.

    • Accident/health insurance coverage up to ₹1 lakh per year per student.
