Scholarship 1

The entire four-year undergrad program will be free of charge for students who enroll in the first year with an overall All India Rank of less than 1000 in the JEE exam administered by the CBSE.

William Webster Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship

Brief about scholarship

The William Webster* Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship was established by Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan with an initial corpus of Rs. 20 Lacs. Eligible students will be awarded the scholarship from the interest income that is generated from the corpus. From the Academic Year 2004 onward, the scholarship would be awarded to students accepted into the Jaypee Education System across the three campuses through a transparent mechanism by a Scholarship Committee established for the purpose. One semester’s worth of tuition fees can be waived for selected students for the entire academic year. All scholarship amounts will be reduced in accordance with the applicable year’s tuition costs.

Eligibility (Fresh Cases):

  • The combined annual income of the parent(s) and guardian(s) must be less than or equal to Rs. 1.5 Lacs.
  • – The following weights for grades from the 10th and 12th grades as well as performance in the first semester of the B.Tech. are used to determine merit.
  1. Class 10th: 15%
  2. Class 12th: 35%
  3. B.Tech. 1st sem. : 50%

Eligibility (Continuation Cases):

  • If a student meets the following requirements, they will continue to receive the scholarship in subsequent years:
  • A minimum CGPA of 7.0 out of a possible 10.
  • The parents’ and guardians’ combined annual income should be less than or equal to Rs. 1.5 Lacs.
