Courses

IRMA was established in 1979 with the aid of the government of India, government of Gujarat and most importantly the Indian Dairy Corporation. The course programme of IRMA was designed keeping in mind the needs of rural India. The institution strives to contribute to the growth and development of rural India.

On postgraduate level, the college offers two courses- Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM)  and Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Rural), PGDMX(R).

PGDRM is a two-year residential programme for candidates, who want to work in rural cooperatives and developmental operations. The PGDMX(R) programme for a duration of 15 months, is for those who have some experience working in rural management.

Its doctoral programme, Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM), is suitable for those who want a career in teaching, research or specialized knowledge-based positions in universities or research centres.

Certificate in Rural Management is available only for those who are working in any IRMA sponsored organization. Their employees can undertake the course and it is paid by the organization. The employees should at the least have a bachelor’s degree to avail this course.

Certificate in Rural Management (CRM) 1-2 years Sponsored candidates from the current working organisation with a valid bachelor’s degree can apply 7.58 Lakhs
Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM) 3 years and above

Candidates must have a master’s degree or an integrated master’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks along with a valid entrance exam score
