Process of Admission to IIT Mandi

Admission to IIT Mandi’s BTech program is primarily based on the JEE Advanced score for the year 2024. Following this, the JoSAA Counselling process determines seat allocation. The NTA has already announced the exam dates for JEE Main 2024. The first session of JEE Main 2024 is scheduled to take place on January 24, 2024, and February 1, 2024. The second session will be conducted on April 1, 2024, and April 15, 2024.

Regarding admissions to IIT Mandi’s MTech program, the GATE application deadline has been extended until October 20, 2023, with late fees. For those interested in MSc Admissions at IIT Mandi, registrations for IIT JAM 2024 are currently ongoing, and the last date to apply is October 13, 2023. In the context of MBA Admissions, the CAT 2023 Admit card will be available for download starting on October 25. The CAT 2023 Entrance test is scheduled to take place on November 26, 2023.

Admission 2024 IIT Mandi Integrated M.Tech

2024 IIT Mandi MA Admission

A full-time, two-year MA in development studies programme is available at IIT Mandi. Candidates for this course come from a variety of backgrounds, including numerous fields in the humanities, social sciences, agricultural science, engineering, basic sciences, etc. The institute conducts a written exam or an interview to determine who gets admitted to the programme.

Ph.D:

NBHM, GATE, UGC NET, and CSIR NET. The decision about entrance will only be made by the selection committee in the case of a candidate with at least five years of work experience.

Direct Admission Requirements for PhD Program:

• those those who obtained an overall grade point average of at least 80 percent while completing their B.Tech at one of the IITs. with a minimum of two years of work experience in a reputable R&D business and a BE/B.Tech degree
• Research Scholars under the External Registration Scheme, QIP, and Institute Staff are also eligible to apply in the part-time method.
• Candidates from Himachal and J&K can also apply for admission to part-time MS and Ph.D. programmes at IIT Mandi.
• Students who have been accepted for an M.Tech. or MS degree at an accredited university or institute and have finished at least one semester of the programme will be given admission to the MS by Research Lateral Entry programme.
